Some thoughts, astray
About the one that got away.
She had two eyes, indeed
Don’t let my tenuous words mislead.
Her eyes were, well, symmetric
As one expects, very poetic.
They were so deeply blue
Forcing me to speak only the true.
Her skin, I tell you, God
Was warm and perfectly not flawed.
She also had, ridiculously, I know
A smile that made my entire day glow.
Her hair, gold like a sea shore
Her voice, at night, shaking my core.
I held her hand once, at midnight
My heart went crazy and ignite.
Her lips, hypnotically, whispering my ear
You drive me crazy, stop it, oh dear.
The rest of her, surprisingly,
Was also built, accordingly.
She was the one and I was blind
How can I get her back, be kind!
